Books Bring Library Expansion
Students at St. Michael Indian School in St. Michaels, Arizona clean shelving units before their assembly.
Over the past year, Reader to Reader has donated thousands of books to replenish the school’s antiquated library. At the start of the school year a second adjoining room was opened for library use, including a bank of computers that were also donated by Reader to Reader.
With the large influx of books came a need for additional shelving units. Irving Nelson of the Navajo Nation Library in Window Rock, Arizona generously donated some used shelving units that the library was not using.
A special thank you to the Navajo Nation Library for their assistance in this project.
